HOW
TO USE THIS SITE
The format of
the MEI MID-LIFT web site is NOT like most on the Internet
which
use a common index to the left of the page. We chose to present each
page's width and style in a simple, clean manner, like a normal "old
fashioned" catalog. But many WORDS are "active," as are
most PHOTOS and ILLUSTRATIONS. These jump to another page of
information.
We pioneered,
developed and Patented the technology of our STUD and STAND mounted
(shaft) rocker systems, which is unique and more precise than any of
the other so called "name brand" systems, and we did it a
HALF DOZEN years before the "number 1 shaft rocker" manufacturer was
even in business - 1973! So educating those who choose our
products is necessary
for them to take full advantage of all these
innovations. This site is divided into THREE (3) sections, represented by:
PRODUCTS,
MID-LIFT
and
TECHNICAL
in the MENU BAR at the TOP of most pages. Entering any of these
keeps you in that section through CLICKING the PHOTOS or ILLUSTRATIONS
within them, as they will continue to open new pages and take you
deeper into more information about each subject, until they loop
back or take you HOME.
PRODUCTS
presents what is available, or upcoming. Most PHOTOS take you to
dedicated pages of information.
MID-LIFT
describes what it really is, how it developed, and its
effect in redefining "geometry" and rocker arm history.
TECHNICAL
is the most complete ROCKER ARM information you'll ever find, and
NEVER found anywhere else before. (Bring your lunch.)
"TERMS
& DEFINITIONS" (TERMINOLOGIES)
This
is our #1 "hit" and "viewed" Web Page!
TERMS & DEFINITIONS
(or TERMINOLOGIES) can be found in the
TECHNICAL section.
This might be the most
important tech page of all. Containing nearly 200 items,
hyperlink text is used throughout the definitions which jumps to other
terms, plus link directly to fully illustrated web pages. Most pages
of our site have this feature in reverse, where highlighted
words jump to their definition in the TERMINOLOGIES page.
CYLINDER HEAD tech is added to our VALVE TRAIN
information as it relates to the integration of these two systems, to
help you understand how to avoid incompatible combinations others miss.
If you
lose your place, you can simply use your browser's BACK button, or you
can choose the blue
MID-LIFT
BANNER
at the top of each page to
take you Back to INDEX. This is the MASTER INDEX
which takes you directly to each page of each section, or the first
page of SEQUENTIAL illustrations, which are presented progressively on
separate pages. If you CLICK the
MID-LIFT
BANNER
from the
MASTER INDEX (now marked "HOME"), it will jump to the HOME
PAGE.
NOTE: If the TEXT and BUTTONS on our web page are TOO BIG or TOO SMALL,
you can change their size by HOLDING DOWN the CTRL button on your
computer keyboard, and rotate the scroll wheel on your mouse, to
increase or decrease the size of all text to our web pages.
The green arrows
(

) within
LONG pages will take you back to their top.
