The FIRST STEP requires installing the rocker arm with the cam in the
closed position, the adjustable pushrod turned in most of the way to simulate the stock length push-rod, and install
G-TooL's Adjuster installed finger tight; then backed off enough to provide
extending the pushrod. The MEI G-TooL™
should be installed
atop the rocker with the .700" VL side down toward the rocker arm, as shown.
Because larger valve lifts require the rocker to sit lower in relation to the
valve tip, using the .700 VL SIDE side FIRST will make the next step
simpler by continuing to increase the pushrod length. Turn The adjustable
pushrod tip out, to elevate the back of the rocker arm until the GAP shown above
has been closed. (See Page 3.)
